Building six units in the Shire? Read this before you lodge.

1. 1. Sutherland Shire DCP 2015: with 6 or more dwellings, 20% must be adaptable to AS 4299 Class C.
2. 2. On top of that, 10% must be livable, designed to the Livable Housing Design Guidelines Silver level.
3. 3. A double garage for an adaptable unit needs a minimum internal width of 6.2 m.
4. 4. Georges River Council has different controls, so get a report written for your council.
